The Argyle and Lakeview Before and After School Program is an unlicensed* program administered through Turtle and Gator Park Co-operative Child Care Centre. Our goal is to provide a safe, reliable and fun place for children to attend before and after school. While we do share our space with the school, we have made every attempt to make the room a comfortable and child friendly space.
Priority into the program is given to those families from Turtle and Gator Park and you must be attending either Lakeview or Argyle School.
*unlicensed is not licensed through the Ministry of Education
MEMBERSHIP
Those parents who are members of Turtle Park and Gator Park Child Care Centre may retain their membership in the co-operative once they have moved on to the Before and After School Programs.
PROGRAM
The program is designed to provide the children with opportunities for physical activity therefore we make use of the gym or the great outdoors on a daily basis. When the children are in the room they may choose from a variety of board games, creative art materials, blocks and reading materials. The maximum child to staff ratio is 1 staff to 18 children. Space is available for those children attending Argyle or Lakeview Schools only. Children may attend the program until they are 12 years of age or until the end of the grade 6 (six) school year.
